JMA sponsors the Dorletako Ama youth cycling team for another year

April 29 2022

The Dorletako Ama cycling team began the new competition season in March by presenting the Under 9s & 10s, the Under 11s & 12s and the Under 13s & 14s categories.

The event was held on the JMA premises in Arrasate and attended by the young cyclists themselves and their coaches, who highlighted the positive impact from the resumption of competitions since the pandemic suspended all activity by the team for two whole seasons.

This new season also welcomes some new faces as the team has been joined by several new young cyclists. “For many of the beginners standing here today, this will be the first time they can take part in one of these cycling competitions. This has led to some nervousness among our young cyclists but also incredible excitement and a strong desire to take part and learn”, said the coach, Mikel Iribecampos.

In this regard, Mikel Iribecampos also wished to highlight the importance of teamwork in these categories and the need to “learn how to achieve common goals together”, values upheld by the Altuna model both within our company and beyond.

With that in mind, JMA has supported this encouragement and promotion of youth sport by sponsoring the Under 9s & 10s, the Under 11s & 12s and the Under 13s & 14s categories of the Dorletako Ama youth cycling team for yet another year. JMA would like to take this opportunity to wish the entire Dorletako Ama team the greatest of success and the very best of luck during this season.
